Earlier in the week, Nick Seaton used an article on our Local Government blog to express his disgust at the decision of two councils to disregard the correct use of apostrophes on road signs.
He will doubtless be even more appalled to learn that those running the parliamentary estate seem to take the same view as the local authorities in Birmingham and Wakefield.
Exhibit A in the case for the prosecution is the photograph, right, which I took this week outside Westminster Hall.
And the apostrophe should, of course, go after the S and not before it.
