I already blogged about David Cameron and his possibly problematic references to European regulations over the past few days at conference.
However, there is a new question: what view would Britain take over an EU-wide bail out plan in the current financial crisis? Is President Sarkozy wrong to try and put together an EU-wide bail out plan? Should Britain not be regulating its own plans? Sally Keeble MP (Labour) told Andrew Neil in the past 10 minutes that we should not support the EU bail out plan given that there are “significant differences” between nations in their own economic capabilities and banking difficulties. I would have to agree with that part of her argument, but not her support of Labour’s economic mismanagement of the crisis.
