It is probably unwise to criticise other politicians for their "skin deep greenery" and urge a curb on car use in front of a national TV audience on Question Time, when you missed your train and had to take a car to Lincoln for the broadcast, especially if you are then intending to go on to take a chauffeur-driven car from Lincoln back to London. It's probably even more unwise if you are a member of the Green Party. Caroline Lucas should know better.
Hat tip: Phil Dilks (good on Green politicians, unaccountably silent recently on the nuances of Labour politics, which are his main area of expertise).
