I don't know about you, but I never found Ben Elton particularly funny. I suppose I wasn't well disposed to him because of all the Thatcher-bashing; I don't know. A bit of a one-gag man I thought... you?
Anyway, he gave an interview which gave rise to a very good article over at the Daily Mail yesterday about the BBC being too afraid to mock Islam, whilst delighting in taking the mickey out of other faiths. Thought I'd share it.
