Back to the Treaty of Lisbon debates: Bill Cash has put down another amendment for third reading on the Supremacy of Parliament which – despite there being only a one-line whip yesterday – shows that many new people are signing up.
I have seen that many more new MPs – more than the original 47 MPs – have signed up to the amendment. There is no online link because the Parliament is predictably slow on publishing the papers online.
Realistically, I expect it to be knocked down and completely rejected (can you even put down amendments in Third Reading?) … but the constant and meaningful pressure is definitely worth it as the Bill continues its journey into the Lords.
