Further to Louise Bagshawe's earlier post on the rapidly-developing news this evening regarding New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's membership of an elite prostitution ring, I thought CentreRight visitors would be amused to see the following advert from Spitzer's successful 2006 election campaign.
In an ultra-cheesy, all-American effort, Spitzer takes us on a journey down "Honesty Road", "Trustworthy Turnpike" and "Integrity Lane", concluding our journey at "Responsibility Road". How ironic.
Tonight, it's painfully apparent that New Yorker's think little of their Governor's sense of honesty, trustworthiness, integrity or honesty.
Hastily-compiled opinion polls show that more than three quarters of the Empire State's residents would like their Governor to resign immediately.
Lieutenant Governor David Paterson could be sworn in as New York's first black Governor later this evening.
