After months of self-imposed exile at his Texas ranch, Karl Rove is back - and this time the focus of his fury is Barack Obama.
Writing in the Wall Street Journal today, Rove launches an at times desperate-sounding attack on Obama, questioning his experience and ridiculing the attempts of his advisors to cast him as the “centrist” candidate.
"For Mr. Obama, words are merely a means to hide a left-leaning agenda behind the cloak of centrist rhetoric... As voters see what his agenda is, his opponents can now far more effectively question his authenticity, credibility, record and fitness to be leader of the free world."
