"The nation is at the limits on tax"

Who said that?  Labour MP John Spellar at an event I've just attended at Policy Exchange.  He's only the latest in a growing line of Labour politicians to recognise the fact that Britain is, at the very least, close to being over-taxed.  Unfortunately - as long as Conservative politicians are committed to continuing the biggest -ever peacetime increase in government expenditure - that situation isn't going to change fast.
