An interesting thread. Some liberal myths I'd point to:
- Margaret Thatcher simply said "there's no such thing as society" - rather than "when it comes to tax, there is no such thing as society [i.e. who foots the bill] - there are individuals and there are families"
- It was wrong to sink the Belgrano
- Bill Clinton was disgracefully hounded for no legitimate reason
- Joe McCarthy was a bad man and there was no truth to the allegations he made
- Immigration has no effect on housing and schooling demand, crime or the spreading of medical conditions
- Gordon Brown was a "prudent" Chancellor
- Man-made climate change exists
well, one could go on and on....!
