Ed Vaizey: The Cutty Sark will rise again

"This is an appalling event.  The destruction of one of London's - and the nation's - favourite treasures is a cause of huge sadness.  I am sure this will remind us all how much we value our heritage and the sorrow we feel when it is lost.   I am sure that the trustees will do all they can to restore this magnificent ship, and I hope the Government will actively support them in their work.  The Cutty Sark will rise again."
