I agree with Tim's post of yesterday afternoon that it is unnecessary to blog the result of the YouGov daily tracker poll every day; however, today's result is significant in that it demonstrates a complete unwinding of the mini conference bounce that Labour appeared to be enjoying.
In the wake of the Sun declaring its support for David Cameron and that series of ill-tempered interviews given by Gordon Brown, the Conservatives have hit 40% again and the party's lead over Labour is back at 14% (having dropped to 7% yesterday).
