Ben Jones selected for Halton

Ben_jones Ben Jones has been selected to contest the Cheshire seat of Halton at the next general election.

30 years old, he was born in Liverpool and lived in Rainhill and St Helens, before studying at the University of Liverpool. After several years in management consultancy, working for Accenture and KPMG, Ben now works for a medical regulator. He joined the Conservative Party in 1992.

The constituency covers the towns of Widnes and Runcorn is currently held by Labour's Derek Twigg with a majority of nearly 15,000.
