Shane Greer appointed Executive Director of Young Britons' Foundation
The Young Britons' Foundation, a non-partisan not-for-profit organisation that identifies, recruits, trains and places conservative activists in politics, the media, public affairs and the civil service, has announced the appointment of Shane Greer as its new Executive Director. Shane, who studied at Liverpool and Glasgow, has recently completed a three month internship with the Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia.
Shane writes a weekly 'Letter from London' about British politics for BritainAndAmerica.com.

Excellent news! I wish Shane the best of luck and look forward to hearing more from the Young Britons' Foundation in the coming year.

Many congratulations Shaun and the best of luck! From my own three-year stint at YBF in a similar role to yours, I know that there are plenty of opportunities for YBF to make an impact on the Conservative movement in the months to come.

Congratulations! Can we have some information on what an Executive Director of the YBF does? Is it a full time position? What responsibilities does it have?

Thanks for the comments.
Good question Peter. Firstly my position is full time. As for the responsibilities of the Executive Director they are primarily all things fundraising, along with the organisation of the YBF summer and autumn conferences.

Shane, I'm so sorry, I was thinking Shane but I typed Shaun! And I previewed it before posting - how embarrassing! More caffeine for Ben methinks... :)

Not to worry Ben, it happens more than you'd think. At least nobody has spelt Shane with a Y!

Congratulations to Shane (or is it Shayne), and well done to YBF for hiring someone so capable.

Many congratulations on this very interesting appointment. Y.B.F. have made a wise choice. Shane, you always aimed for the stars. Now, I believe, you can be one.
Congrats once again!

the legacy: a comedy of terrors
The breathtaking novel that has the whole ofWestminster chattering!
The tale chronicles the progress of unbridled governance, its demise and inevitable descent into hubris.
The work’s title, subject matter and it reasonance with the public are obvious, but it is absolutely bursting with handy quotables and chic wisdom as well.
