Since helping establish the Centre in 2004, Cameron has established the CSJ Awards to recognise, reward and celebrate the work of innovative grassroots poverty-fighting groups. He has also helped grow the CSJ Alliance, a network of third sector organisations tackling the most acute social problems who offer their expertise to politicians from the major political parties.
Cameron is particularly interested in third sector and education policy and has written speeches on these topics for senior politicians. He is currently supporting Orlando Fraser in reviewing third sector policy for the Social Justice Policy Group. Previously Cameron worked in the Renewing One Nation team at Conservative Central Office.
