This evening I was on a television programme discussing the new film Burma VJ. I had seen it first a few weeks ago, when I took part in a panel discussing the film after a pre-screening at the Frontline Club. Burma VJ went out yesterday in cinemas across the country, and details can be found here. It is the most extraordinary film. It puts the pettiness of so much of our domestic politics to shame, and serves as a reminder for how valuable our freedoms are, and how we should use the freedoms we have on behalf of those who are denied them. Watch Burma VJ, and then take action for freedom in Burma.
