Also yesterday, the public sector workers union, Unison, suspended donations to constituency Labour parties. Dave Prentis received a standing ovation from his union members' conference when he launched a stinging attack on Gordon Brown's policies. “Our members are tired of feeding the hand that bites them,” he said.
