Since the by-election I have heard from several candidates in seats with Labour majorities smaller than / around the same as the old Dunwoody majority in C&N, who report a surge in new volunteers and a surge in the enthusiasm of the volunteers they already had. Activists are apparently enormously encouraged by the obvious arithmetic - if that can happen there...
Have you seen the same? Or, on the other hand, do you know of Labour members / MPs panicking in such seats?
