It's hardly Air Force One
Lots of photographs of the jet that is taking our Prime Minister to the USA; see Sky, Ben Brogan and RedBox. What's your view? Is it prime ministerial?
Perhaps the orange splodge on the plane is a reminder of the orange make-up splodge that Brown forgot to wash off during the recent left-wing conference with the swastika logo.

Sorry guys but you can't have it both ways. There was lost of scoffing from posters on this site about Blairforce one and glee when Brown cancelled it - if we want Britain to be able to promote itself abroad then we have to spend the money - if not accept this.

I think the public would be perfectly happy for the PM to always travel like that. The contrast with Blair Force One contributes to the most effective branding Brown has had - Not flash, just Gordon.
Flying with Titan is hardly hairshirt stuff though, as others have noted.

Not from me Liberalone. I think our PM should travel in a way that brings credit to our country. I think the same of our Foreign Embassies.
This jet doesn't look "unflash" Sam, just tacky (and expensive). Not a great combination.

Brilliant, the man who thinks we ought to be seeing real terms cuts in public spending was to splash out on a Prime Ministerial Air Force One...
